On behalf of my co-chair Prof. Dzudie, the
entire Steering Committee, and the Servier
team, I would like to thank you for your Cross-sectional epidemiological study with Patient
valuable contribution to patient recruitment Reported Outcomes (PRO) built in collaboration with
and the collection of high-quality data. patient association.

Your involvement in the study has provided It collects real-life data to improve the knowledge of
valuable insights that are driving meaningful hypertensive patients and evaluate the management of
changes in clinical practice. hypertension in real-life practice.
                                                                          Assess prevalence of controlled BP / LDL-C / HbA1c
Thank you for making this possible. and collect data on CV risks factors and comorbidities.

          LATIN AMERICA

There is a significant dearth of data on cardiovascular diseases in Africa, limiting effective clinical
decision-making, public health planning and intervention. The success of the Snapshot study in West
and Central Africa was made possible through a close and innovative collaboration with leading African
scientific societies. These partners were actively involved at every stage, from the project’s design to
its implementation, ensuring the study was fully aligned with local specificities. By engaging experts
from across the continent, we adapted the methodology to regional contexts and collected data that
truly reflects clinical practices in these regions of Africa. Using this approach, the project contributed
to strengthening the capacity and capability of national cardiac societies to generate real-life data.
We extend our sincere thanks to all African experts and societies involved. Their expertise, insights,
and unwavering commitment played a crucial role in the study’s success.
         Prof. A.Dzudie
